I saw the life sketch of my father, Mulshanker Bhatt, on your wordpress website. Thank you for including him in your admirable project of listing writers in Gujarati.
You may wish to add the following information in his life sketch.
His mother’s name was Revaben Pathak.
Our mother’s name was Hansaben Bhatt.
We are two brothers and two sisters.
A correction in the information about his translation of Les Miserable.’Les Miserable’ was written by Victor Hugo (not Alexander Dumas). He also edited “Dharatini Aarti’ which contains selected writings of Swami Anand.

I am extremely pleased and satisfied that you have given a short bio-sketch of perhaps Gujarat’s best educator – “Kelavanikar”. I had the privilege of meeting him several times as his eldest son Balulbhai is my brother-in-law.
He also wrote “Shri Krishna no Sandesh” a book that impressed me for his philosophical content. Somehow Mulshankarbhai and I shared another common pursuit- Sitar playing. I was deeply impressed by his simplicity and genuinness. I have seen him console a crying child few times to everyone’s surprise. His noble thoughts have always won everyone’s heart.

Bakulbhai is correct when he says that Bhai had four children of his own. But, Bhai was a kind, loving fatherly figure to hundreds others who were fortunate to come in his close contact. My wife Shaila and I are two of such many. Even today, about 25 years since we parted his company, tears roll down Shaila’s eyes when she talks about Bhai. As Abhijitbhai has said Bhai’s simplicity and genuinness were spontaneous. To my knowledge, very few individuals so truly represented Gandhi as Bhai did. His sparkling and transparent eyes hid nothing behind, and always radiated kindness and love. I am almost a nonbeliever, but if godlyness ever existed on this planet it would be in such tender hearts as Bhai’s.
