છેલ્લે મળ્યા- ૨૦૧૧ ફેબ્રુઆરીમાં – ‘સમન્વય’ માં – અમદાવાદ.
અહીં એમને જોઈને કૃતેશ પર વારી જ જવું પડે ને?

We know Rasbhai and Vibhaben.
They are our family and friends.He often visits us since mid 50’s.
Rasbhai was my teacher in 1959 and was Conducting with his Uncle Sureshbhai Jani Group Song ‘Ame Shamane Ramanara…”
Composed by him for Inter University Competition.
I was in Gujarat Collage.
It takes me back in those days when Chitraben Dholakia, Harshida Vyas(Rawal) HansaMehta(Shah) and Ranade and Mankad,My self and solanki were Singing-While Nandan Mehta,Gaurang Vyas and Anil Desai Played instruments.

Many times i listened him on radio & dd -gujarat.I can’t forget the the” Gram mata” poem of Kalapi he sung on Ahmedabad-Vadodara Radio/ DD.I still wish to hear the the same in his voice throuhg any source.Pl. help the viewer ofthis comment.

Rasubhai will be missed very much. He is gone but his music would be with us for ever. He and Vibhaben gave us some wonderful musical experience.
Two of his compositions “Taru kanku kharyu…” and “Aaj Mahaaj…..” were
my favorite ones.
A number of singers rendered the first one but I felt that the very first rendering by Sudha Lakhia -later Mrs.Kshemu Divetia,
(Two years ahead of me in the Navchetan High school where she started singing the fellow classmate Kavi Niranjan Bhagat ‘s poems) and the one by Rasubhai were the tops.
Kavi Kant’s “Aaj Mahaaraaj…” was his master piece. If the great Kavi was around and listened to it, He would have uttered something like this,
“Rasu Beta teto mara shabdone jivant kari didha” (રાસુ બેટા તેતો મારા શબ્દોમા પ્રાણ પતિષ્ટા કરી. શતં જીવ” .આની અનુભુતિ કરવી હોય તો કોઈ પૂનમની રાત્રે ગોપનાથ જઈ મોટો જુવાળ ચડ્યો હોય ત્યારે રસુભાઈની ટેપ સાંભળજો.

વર્ષો પહેલા શ્રી રાસબિહારી દેસાઈ-વિભાબેન દેસાઈ -રસિકલાલ ભોજક ની ટીમ એ સંસ્કૃત શિવમહિમ્ન ભાષાંતર સાથે આપેલું જે મને મળતું નથી. લાખ કોશિશ કરી. મને મળે તો કોઈ આપે. હું એની કોપી કરીને પાછું આપીશ.
