Modest suggestion
I have come across your benevolent web today for the first time and really very delighted. You have stated some Ashrams serving the society and areas they have chosen to offer their best. I have known by reading news papers etc like Desai brothers since the time of Jiabhai Darji etc. You have fittingly depicted such selfless serving personalities naming them truly as “Marshshiji” to inspire others at least to do good wherever they are to adjudge a situation and their conscious appeals. I felt Ashrams which you have pointed out around Narmada River falling in Bharuch and Vadodara areas should have been detailed by phone nos and other moteliring (residential) details with distance from Ahmedabad so as to help those who wish to take a sort of picnic like visit especially family, friends and groups of seniors. I am in USA and being retired GOG Officer have thought no of times to take retired friends and colleagues to such places centering Kevadia colony being a place worth visiting dam etc at Kevadia .(I have visited occasionally being govt official ). But visiting pious, dutiful and selfless Ashrams around by synchronizing nearby places may help as guide to all in future and this you can keep on your web also. I while in A’ bad and my friends had tried & succeeded to take my retired colleagues to “Berna Ashram” “Shamlaji,” Mahudi” etc. near Himatnagar and other places around once only one dayer and wished other trip but to unite and organize retirees is little difficult as it requires patient consistent positive efforts though these people like being aloof. I feel providing facilitating details may inspire people towards civic and public duty. I liked that Tampa-Florida visit in colorful narration. —P.P.Shah 69. USA. August 11, 2013

I suggest that why can’t we encourage people to suggest about how and in what way we all can submit our ideas t make all cities of Gujarat more clean hygienic and nuisance free from all sides say, litter free, cattle-free, dog-nuisance free, provision of full lavatories and latrines so as to avoid attendance of natural calls on the roads. removal of hawkers-vendors from main roads and streets, encouraging people contributing on these ends,providing parking facilities etc. which in end eventually could be sent to Govt for suitable decision and action in the larger interest of communities all over Gujarat.-P.P.Shah USA
