Dear Friends,
I know Ganibhai only through his poems and songs and feel that he must have had a great heart to come up with some of the most sensitive phrases in his gazals and poems. I remember his two lines most vividly
“Tame rajrani na chir sam ame rank nar ni chundadi
Tame tan pe raho ghadi beghadi ame sath dai e kafan sudhi..”
I wish you had put more details in his biographical sketch by talking to his son, his friends and other poets who knew him personally. His biographical sketch given here is just a skeleton, you should have mentioned where he spent most of his life time etc in his biosketch. If possible, please give a more expanded sketch which can quench thirst of many people like myself to know some thing more about his life, memorable events of his life and his guiding compass. I am sure there must be some recorded personal interviews with other journalists published in Gujarat. Thank you very much.

Ganichacha was pur Gandhivadi in His life style.
He wore ‘KHADI” all his life. He was a Tailor by Profession. Mostly He used to take contract to supply Uniforms. He used to visit us almost every evening and have Mehfil of Shayri on the terrace of our Home in Surat.
તેઓ વ્યવસાયે દરજીકામ કરતા હતા.
A great poet. Divaso judaai na by Rafi saab is too good.
Wonder if recording of his other poems are available.

પતંગાની અગન લઈને ‘ગની’, કંઈ શોધીએ શાતા;
